Certis, in a joint venture with Cots and Claret, has won the award and has already started work on the new Lloret de Mar Elderly Home and Day Care Center, owned by the City Council. The building, located in the Can Buch area, will have a total constructed area of 6,671.58 m² (5,769.80 m² above ground and 901.78 m² below ground). It will have 136 residential places and a day center with capacity for twenty users. One of the singularities of this project is the use of industrialized construction techniques in the upper floors, where wood will be the main structural element. This work is characterized by a design that integrates criteria of functionality, sustainability and a careful aesthetic composition. The collaboration between all the parties involved in the project responds to the common desire to guarantee an efficient and sustainable construction, from a technical, functional and environmental point of view.
