Certis completes the redevelopment of the Jardins de Clara Campoamor

Certis has completed the redevelopment of the Jardins de Clara Campoamor, a project financed by Barcelona City Council, Merlin Properties and Colonial Real Estate. This green space has become a new jewel in the Les Corts district, integrating accessibility, sustainability and an inclusive approach so that everyone can enjoy it. Last Tuesday, October 1, the mayor of Barcelona, Jaume Collboni, inaugurated the gardens in a public event, which we did not want to miss, emphasizing that “they are a green area won for the city and the district, inclusive and designed for everyone.” In addition, he took the opportunity to pay tribute to the figure of Clara Campoamor, recalling that on this same date, in 1931, Campoamor delivered her famous speech before the Cortes in defense of women’s political rights. Accompanied by the councilor of the Corts District, David Escudé, the mayor thanked everyone involved in the project for their effort and dedication. The project has not only improved access to the park, removing architectural barriers and creating a continuous slope from Avinguda Diagonal to Carrer Europa, but has also transformed the children’s area with inclusive games, an accessible slide and new spaces for rest that encourage coexistence.
